Here is some help on a Sharp Aquos. You pull the plug and update manually.
Sharp Aquos Firmware Update Issue and Resolution
I recently had problems with my Sharp Aquos LC-60LE632U and firmware update 311U1204061. When I attempted to run the Netflix app, I was told that I couldn't proceed unless I updated the firmware. After 2 attempts to update the firmware via the network, I turned to Google and found that this was a common problem. In order to resolve the issue, you'll need to update the firmware manually, via a USB thumb drive. See the following instructions:
have you tried downloading the firmware and re flashing it ? "google "firmware for ( your model number ) download the firmware/install it on a sd card ( or some do it from your laptop depending on tablet ) but you will get instructions with the firmware on how to do it ..hope this helps
You can re-install the firmware with the latest one suited to your TV. But before doing that, contact the authorized service center, and make sure about the version of firmware that should be upgraded with your TV model. They will provide you proper assistance. Gopakumar Gopalan Google
Never do any more adjustments or experiments with present condition. It might make it irreparable.
An LG MP3 player is not an iPod. Model "cm50012" is a "fake" iPod, made in China. By formatting it, you likely removed the firmware which gives it it's music playing functions. You'll need to restore the firmware.
