What drivers do I need to reinstall for Windows 7

In order to reinstall the Operating System, you'll need the Chipset, Network, Audio and Video drivers at least. You can check the drivers that are already installed by going to device manager and making a note of the devices listed.

Other than these, you'll also require to install drivers for any external device that might be connected to the system like printers, webcams, wireless keyboard or mouse etc. But that can be taken care of easily once the basic drivers mentioned above are installed. Once the network driver is installed, and you're connected to the internet, you can just download the rest of the drivers from the OEM/Manufacturer website.

Problem audio

There are a few likely causes with audio problems. Either you need to reinstall the audio drivers, you need to reinstall your OS, or your sound card just died.

1) Most likely, is that you just need to reinstall your audio driver, or update it. The link below contains the latest audio driver for the Dell Latitude D620. Download it, run the program, and install it, then restart your computer.

Click me to download latest audio driver!

2) If the sound isn't working from the driver, then you will want to try to reinstall Windows. Note that doing this will delete all of your data currently on the laptop. To reinstall, find the Windows disk that came with it and run it, follow the instructions. After you reinstall Windows, reinstall the drivers from your drivers/utilities CD that came with your laptop also.

3) If sound still isn't working, then your sound card/chipset has just died. Since it's a laptop, there's really no fix for this, however you still should be able to hear using headphones.

I have a Dell and net adapters doesnt work

Uninstall and reinstall LAN drivers and Broadcom drivers.
Press Windows key and R key simultaneously to open Run Window.
Type "devmgmt.msc" and click on OK.
This will open Device Manager.
Click on "+" sign next to Network Adapters and right click on the network adapter and select Uninstall.
After uninstalling right click on Network Adapters and select scan for hardware changes.
This will reinstall the drivers.
Sometimes windows prompts you to restart the computer to reinstall the drivers automatically.
You can even reinstall the new LAN and Broadcom drivers from your Dell website provided they have new version of these drivers.
After reinstalling the drivers, check if the adapters work.
If the adapters still don't work, the issue could be with the hardware.
You may even try with recovering your PC using Dell Factory Recovery.
Before performing Recovery, take the backup of your hard disk as the Recovery process will restore your notebook completely to factory settings.

How to install XP in toshiba Satellite L45-S7423 laptop

You cannot uninstall Windows Vista, but you can reinstall your previous operating system, which then replaces Windows Vista. To reinstall your old operating system, you must have the original installation disc. Back up your programs and files, insert the installation disc into your computer, and then reinstall the old operating system. To regain the hard disk space used by Windows Vista, reformat the disk during the reinstallation process. After reinstalling your previous operating system, reinstall your programs and files.
