Question about Dryers
My dryer has been out of use for some years but properly lagered in a warm Place. Now I started it again and it works fine except a slight creeking sound as if in need of lubing. How is that done.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Maytag neptune dryer won't start
Hey all neptune stricken owners - I removed the circuit board which was darkened substantially in the resistor area, but the maytag repairman got no money this time!! . . . And the cold is no longer the problem it has been for the past couple of years. We replaced the 3 main capacitors(blue) and the cluster of four resistors(brown) - and voila - the dryer works like new!!! It only cost a few bucks ($.67, $.92 etc etc) as opposed to the $151 a new board was going to cost!
