Question about Compaq Computers & Internet
I know you guys are thinking "Higher it up in AMD settings" No, The Windows 8 options are "Not Available" I have highered the brightness on it and my monitor but still there are a lot of things I can't see, I have tried 3 VGA cables as it doesn't support HDMI all cables were plugged in and screwed in too, what can I do to make it look like it should on a laptop screen or other desktops >_< I have tried it on other monitors, one of them worked fine, it was a Dell monitor, any tips?
Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options
at the bottom there is settings for screen brightness.
To get to control panel on 8, (not 8.1) go to desktop, then Winkey+c and click settings then control panel.

no worries, any monitor you buy now which is an LCD has both inputs DVI and VGA. However, it might not necessarily provide both cables. I suggest you buy one where both cables are included.
From the description, the cable you have is VGA. The VGA PC interface for it should be smooth with small holes in it. The DVI PC interface is wider than VGA
