Question about Philips Mc235b Micro Size Stereo Audio System

How do you get the equalizer off jazz

The stereo has a DBB button to boost the bass but doesn't seam to have any button to change the equalizer from jazz to anything like rock, rap, clasical or anything. Just seems like it'll have to stay stuck on jazz cuz I'm pretty sure I tried everything and it made me very very irritated, so if someone could let me know how or if you can I'd appreciate it, also what is the white button type thing on the left side below the open-close button, the remote censor?

Sony how to change the bass on my sony mex bt3100u stereo

Hello Tom,

You may have to adjust the EQ7 Preset to XPLOD and then listen to the jam. Here are the instructions from the bt3100u manual:

Selecting the sound quality
- EQ7 Preset
You can select an equalizer curve from 7 equalizer curves ("XPLOD," "VOCAL," "EDGE," "CRUISE," "SPACE," "GRAVITY," "CUSTOM" or "OFF").
1 During reception/playback, press the select button.
2 Rotate the control dial until "EQ7 PRESET" appears, then press it.
3 Rotate the control dial until the desired equalizer curve appears, then press it.
4 Press (BACK).
The display returns to normal reception/play mode. To cancel the equalizer curve, repeat the first 2 steps then select "OFF" in step 3.
Tip
The equalizer curve setting can be memorized for each source.
We hope that this helps. If not please return and post how this went.

How do i calibrate my powered subwoofer for my car

OK assuming you are referring to after market sub and amp whether or not added to factory head unit (stereo). #1 start your engine, and have your amp adjusting knobs accessible #2 insert a CD of the most listened to type of music (Rock, rap, classic) #3 adjust your stereo volume to YOUR max preferred db level with your amp levels at the lowest settings possible #4 start by increasing your freq. rang by 2 bands at a time then the same with gain, once you have gotten your bass to the level you like with out distorting or popping try increasing your bass boost (if available) till your preferred sound(may need to back off gain and freq. add bass boost accordingly until you like what you hear.play around with it for a while make sure you do this at the peak volume in which YOU listen to music because if you do it at a low volume and then turn it up you can blow your equipment . side not 8''in is for very fast bass reps, 10''in is for average rock and 12''s 15''s 22''s are for your low long deep bass reps such as rap and R&B anything else just e-mail me

My screen broke and I am unable to change my settings. Is there any way ui can get a picture of the mode settings?

holding the MODE button will return you to the main screen. They are Music-Movie-Picture-Setting. You should be on the Music screen first. Pressing down will take you through these in order. Under Setting is LCD set, Language, online device, memory info, firmware, remove mtp info, default, exit.
While in Music (as long as you are not playing a song) tapping the MODE button will give you the option of going to the local folder or exit.
If you play a song and press MODE you are given the following options Play Mode, Equalizer, SRS WOW Mode, and exit.
Under Play mode are the options, Normal, repeat one, folder, repeat folder, repeat all, random, and intro.
Under Equalizer is flat, rock, pop, classic, soft, jazz, DBB
Under RS WOW mode is srswow, user setting, disable srs wow and exit.
I hope this is what you were looking for.

DBB (Dynamic Bass Boost) is allways on :-(

It doesn't mention it in the manual. However maybe it stores the DBB position when you first set up the radio. If so try resetting the radio. But make certain the DBB is off before you do.
This is how to reset:
In standby mode, press and hold?? on the
system until "AUTO INSTALL - PRESS PLAY"
is displayed.
2
Press ?? again to start installation.
?
All previously stored radio stations will be
replaced
