when you lose your house ground/neutral connection, the system becomes a voltage divider type system between two appliances on each phase, and say a 1000watt appliance on one side and your bose on the other at say 20 watts, the lower wattage appliance will experience say a voltage of 170volts and the 1000watt will receive only about 60volts,you may have lucked out and only have blown an internal fuse or the radio could be shot
"Error 180" is either very bad (video board is defective) or just a temporary fluke and meaningless..
Best case-> the "error 180" could be fixed by a simple reset (unplug the DC power cable from the media center for about 30+ seconds).
Worst case-> this will have to be sent to Bose for repair.
Try re-seating any HDMI or component cables at the back panel as well.
If you can see your system menu (by pressing 'system' on the remote) then the video board may be fine. If not, still reset it before determining anything else.
Also, if the input device (DVD player) is connected with HDMI, and the output (the V20) is component.. this canl cause the error as well.
