First of all the disk isn't needed. Go into internet explorer and type in the ip address of the gateway. A user id screen will appear. By default the user id is admin, the password it linksys. Select Wireless for the links at the top of the router screen. Select security. You will see a screen for generating pass phrases. Once that is enabled a WEP key or whatever security key you decide to use will be enabled.
