Lexmark X1185 feeding not printing

Hello,

 

I just bought a used X1185.  I installed the drivers from the internet and it seems to be working to scan but it will not print.  It feeds but the page is blank.  The black ink is low but not empty and the colour cartridge is full.

    same problem. wont print nothing only blank after i downloaded from internet i also bought it used.

Maybe the cartridges are dry. Try running a test page after running the maintenance nozzle cleaning.

Hello Barbhinkins,
Please find the vista driver for this printer at this link. Follow the instructions to install properly.

Hopefully this file will also have driver for scanner.

My Lexmark X1185 will scan but will not feed to print
You probably need to adjust the roller or do an alignment. Your owners manuel should have the info on how to do this.you can probably clean the roller . If it shiny it will not pull up the paper. Check it out.

Lexmark X1185 printer will not print color......everything else works fine
the ink is clogged not the cartridge but were the ink feeds into the printer. there should be a cleaner tab in the printer preference tab if available

Lexmark X1185 won't scan.
I have the same issues with a Lexmark printer, Lexmark printers are not very user friendly with Vista. What I did is create a dual boot with XP and installed the software for the printer there. If interested in that follow these instructions or contact lexmark support.

Lexmark X1185 won't scan.
I believe you have to push the scan button in order for it to scan and save. The copy buttons will only print either a black copy or a color copy.

It sounds like there is still paper inside. Remove all paper in the tray and if all is clear. Reload the paper and push the paper feed button. If this doesn't work unplug the printer on let it reboot.
