Pedal plays10 minutes then cuts off

Sounds like bad power. Just checking to make sure the voltage on the power supply matches is not enough. You need to make sure that the miliamps match AND that the polarity is correct. I had the same issue with my old DD-20.

How do you make it work with the 9 volt battery?

The 9-volt battery is a backup battery. It will keep the clock running and the alarm working when the power goes off so you won't be late for work.

I lost the battery charger for the BigFoot toy. Can I buy one?

I know you can get these on Ebay. Also most NI-MH 9 volt battery charges will charge this battery pack. You can use a 9 Volt Snap Battery Connector with Alligator Clips to bridge the connection between the battery pack and the NI-MH 9 volt batter charger. This is how I charge this battery pack now. You can probably get the 9 Volt Snap Battery Connector with Alligator Clips at a radio shack or on Amazon... as well as a NI-MH 9 volt battery charger.. don't hook up the leads backwards :)

The microphone will not transmit. I tested the receiver with a body pak and it works fine. so the issue is in the mic. This was given to our small church and we really need to get it working.

A wireless mic uses batteries for power. Check the battery terminals and clean them (pencil eraser), also make sure that a new (check voltage with volt meter) battery is installed. Finger grease is one culprit which cannot be seen on the terminals. Batteries also leak and leave traces of "stuff" on the terminals. Any drop in voltage (because of dirt) will make that device stop working.

If it uses a 9 volt battery, check both wires going from the 9 volt connector - one might be broke (not connected). Checking if either of the wires is "loose" (broke) is easy.

Hope this helps.

How do you connect a HP compaq fan to a 9-volt battery?

  • Remove the 9-volt battery to be tested from the device it is powering.

Read the instructions of the testing device to ensure an understanding of how to connect the battery to the tester properly.

Attach the battery to the testing device according to the manufacturer's instructions, being careful to attach the positive terminal of the battery to the positive input of the testing device, which will be indicated by a "+" or "positive." Attach the negative terminal of the battery to the negative input of the testing device, which will be indicated by a "-" or "negative."

Read the display of the testing device to determine the status of the battery. If the voltage is low, replace the battery with a new one.

The electrical output of a 9-volt battery will decrease slowly until it reaches a level that is no longer adequate to power a 9-volt device. When the output of the battery decreases to 5.5 volts or less, the battery should be replaced as the power output has diminished to a point of imminent failure.

    Some speakers not working

TEST THE SPEAKERS USING A 9 VOLT BATTERY, USE A JUMPER TO THE SPEAKER TERMINALS, TOUCH ONE LEAD OF THE 9 VOLT BATTERY TO THE SPEAKER AND QUICKLY REMOVE THE POWER, THE SPEAKER CONE WILL JUMP IF THE SPEAKER IS GOOD, IF IT IS THEN THE RADIO NEED TO BE REPAIRED. THIS IS MOST LIKELY A RADIO ISSUE.

My casio exilims battery charger light is flashing, i know theres a trick using a 9 volt battery. how can i do it?

you take a 9 volt battery and take a metal paper clip or anything this and metal and connect it from the + side of the 9 volt battery and the - side of the camera batery. take another mateal object and connect it from the - 9 volt battery to the + of the camera battery. hold it for about 30 seconds (it might be easier if someone helps you) and place the camera battery back in the charger. that should give the camera battery enough power to help it boost up its charge and make the flashing stop

    TAD2012 Quick Reference Guide

    To Install
    1. Open the battery door with a ballpoint pen. Install one 9-volt alkaline battery (not included)
    and replace cover.
    2. Plug the telephone line cord (connected to the back of the TAD2012) into the modular wall
    jack.
    3. Plug AC adapter into standard 120-volt outlet. Plug your phone directly into an outlet, not into
    an extension cord.

    To Play Back Your Messages
    1. When the message indicator flashes, you have received messages.
    2. To hear your messages, press and release the PLAY control. Your unit will automatically
    reset after messages are played.

After the last message and 2 beep tones, press the STOP/SAVE control.

IN CASE OF POWER FAILURE OR IF ANSWERING SYSTEM IS NOT OPERATING PROPERLY

If a power failure occurs or the plug comes out of the wall, your unit will shut down until the power is restored. One 9-volt battery must be installed to retain your personal greeting message and incoming messages during the power failure. Occasionally outside factors, such as power surges, may adversely affect the unit. If the unit is not operating properly or if the light continues to flash once power is restored, try these steps:
    1. Unplug the AC adapter from the power outlet.
    2. Remove the 9-volt battery. Replace with a fresh 9-volt battery.
    3. Plug AC adapter back into power outlet.
    4. When your unit is initially plugged in, it will check its memory for approximately 3 seconds.
Three deep tones will be heard if you attempt to record a greeting message before this
    period.
    5. Record a new greeting message.

Indicator Status: Message indicator is consistently flashing slowly.
Reason: No greeting message has been recorded.
    Action: Record your greeting.

Indicator Status: Message indicator flashes rapidly.
Reason: A 9-volt alkaline battery (not included) has not been installed or needs to be replaced.
Action: Install a fresh 9-volt alkaline battery. (Battery provides power failure backup. Unit is functional without it).

Indicator Status: Message indicator flashes to indicate number of messages received,
    and then repeats.
    Reason: Messages have been received.
Action: Press PLAY control to hear your messages.

Indicator Status: Message indicator is lit solid.
Reason: System is in Answer Mode.
Action: No action required. Unit is ready to receive calls.
