Please Tell me, ASUS P4S8X-MX Problemn

Dear Sir,

              My ASUS P4S8X-MX mother board is not understand the CD-ROM and not boot from CD message not appear. When the mother Board and CD-ROM is attach, power on the comuter the following message is appear.

Boot Block Compatible Version Ver .020

Bad BIOS checksum starting BIOS recovery

Checking for Floopy.

Floopy not found!...

Checking for CD-ROM

CD-ROM not found!...

                              Please tell me explain above the problemn,what hardware,software or other devices problemn? I'm very quickly know. I should to the motherboard, step by step please explain and reply the following E-Mail Address.

The mothorboard is asking for the CD-ROM that came with the motherboard It recognizes The cd drive is there it just needs the cd-rom to update the BIAS

First of all, try to reseat all the cables inside your computer just make sure there aren't any loose connections.

If that doesn't work you will have to reset your BIOS. (Follow the instructions in your motherboard manual.)

If even after resetting the BIOS the problem is not solved, you may have to replace your CMOS Battery.

Asus k8s mx mother board problem

To get rid of this message at boot you must turn off the Chassis Intrusion detector feature. To do this you must restart the computer, as it boots press DEL to enter BIOS.
Under the SECURITY tab in BIOS select CHASSIS INTRUSION and select DISABLE.
Then select EXIT and SAVE CHANGES and OK to reboot the system.

Asus K8S-MS boot problem..

my understanding is that if you do not have other drives in a raid configuration you do not need the raid driver loaded ,have your hard drive plugged into the first sata slot, then format the hard drive ,instal o/s and all should be good.

Processor for P5VDC-MX

Hey there alcouto, your motherboard supports Intel Celeron, Intel Pentium 4, and Intel Pentium D processors. The socket set is LGA775. The FSB should be no higher than 800Mhz. It appears you have purchased the wrong CPU for your board. I hope the rest of the info helps you on your next purchase. Good Luck!
