could you please provide me as soon as possible part number for for magicolor 2480 fuse
Problem for Konica Minolta magicolor 2480 MF All-In-One Laser Printer
PC won't recognize printer -- drivers installed and cords connected.
A few days ago my printer would no longer accept printing commands from the computer. We have reinstalled the printer drivers from both the original CD and obtained a driver from the net, following installation instructions from pg. 25 of the original Installation Guide which came with the printer. The PC (XP) does not recognize that there is a printer, but functions as a copier quite well. We've obviously checked all the connections -- all is well. I need help getting my PC to talk to my Magicolor. Help!

- Thanks for the suggestion to check the control panel, but the printer is not listed there, so we cannot choose it as the primary printer.May 19, 2009
- We've reinstalled the software for the printer twice: once with the original CD and again with a downloaded version, using the exact step-by-step instructions in the original manual. The software does not show up as installed! Thanks again.May 24, 2009
- We have figured a way to correct the problem. We plugged the usb cord into another port, then restarted the computer. It found new hardware, and looked for the printer driver on the pc. Best I can figure, a printing job got "stuck" in the spooler and somehow confused the pc. But the printer and computer are communicating once again, and I can print! Whew.Clarification Request

The software that you installed for the printer should be found in c:\program files
At least I believe so, go into my computer and then the c: drive and then into the folder called program files and then see if you can find any folder thats related to the printer. If you can then there might be a way to manually install the printer.

Go into the the control panel and the into the printers icon and see if your printer is located in there and if it is make sure its set as the default printer.
