Lose half power

2008 fst has no power when excelerating. heard a pop when excelerating from a stop and now no power when throttling up.

Something to do with your tuneup. Check the spark plugs and the timing.

2004 Hyundai Santa Fe loses exceleration


This is usually caused by failure of the accelerator pedal position sensor, but can also be caused by the throttle control motor. I would test the sensor first. If it fails, replace it. If it passes, che k the wiring and connectors for continuity to the pcm and throttle. If wiring is good, replace the throttle controller.

My Santa Fe loses exceleration and when diagnosed got code p2135. I was told there was a recall by hyundai for this. Is this right

Have you changed the fuel filter lately? The car will loose power if it isn't getting enough gas.
