I bought a LG 4GLTE....keeps saying this device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google account that was previously synced on this device. How can I get past this?

This is an activation lock through Google. Basically, the device was factory reset, and there was a PIN or SWIPE lock screen and a Google account on the device when it was factory reset.

As a layer of protection and to ensure the phone is not stolen, it is looking for you to enter the Google account that the device was ORIGINALLY set up with. If you know the Gmail login, but need to reset the password, you will not be able to login to the phone for 72 hours AFTER the password reset.

If you do not know the login, there is no way to bypass this screen. You would need to get the Gmail account information from the original owner.

How do I get into my lg phone when I forgot my pin/password

The only way to get back into your device is to do a factory reset. Keep in mind, Google has an activation lock to prevent theft of your device. With that being said, after you factory reset your phone it may ask you to login to the original gmail account that your device was set up with.

To do a factory reset, you need to boot the phone into recovery mode:

  1. Power down the device
  2. Hold down the following keys:
Volume Up + Home + Power
Volume Up + Home + Search

Just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 20 minutes or so. This must make it a hard reset.

I need to hard reset my droid can u help

To perform a hard reset on an Android phone, follow these steps:
Go to your "Settings" menu. You can access this through the Settings icon in your app drawer, or by tapping the "Menu" key while you are on your home screen.

Scroll down to and then tap "Privacy"

Tap "Reset Factory Data"

This will erase all the data on the phone and reset your phone back to its original factory settings. You will have to reinstall applications, re-add your Google Account and possibly re-install some software updates.

If this information helped you, please help me by giving me a few thumbs up, thanks!
