Wont track very well and bark doesnt work all the time

Our violet was doing the same thing, as though the on/off paw was pressing all the time. I have just replaced the batteries, and it seems to have fixed it. In one of the manuals I read it says if she is behaving erratically, then replace the batteries, and that the included batteries are for display only. We only had her a month!

try putting some white lithium grease on the tracks

i would try putting some dog food on the floor panel and see if a dog comes out to eat it

well that is only good for one use me and my buddy did it sucks

either put your i-dog by a speaker with high volume or plug him to a music player.

is it connected to a ipod or zune or any mp3?

There are 2 ways to format an mp3 player - if you were formatting the mp3 player from "My Computer," then try reformatting from Windows Media Player instead - I have a "tips and tricks" entry on How to Format an Mp3 Player for details

If that doesn't work, then double-click on My Computer, double-click on the Sansa player, and go to the various folders that it lists - music, voice, etc. Delete the songs ONLY - do not delete the dat, bat, ini, inf, or other system files

A friend had a similar problem; he found that the compressor was
getting overheated. He fixed an axial-fan inside the control box
to keep the compressor cool, and things worked out OK.
