Problems transferring entire VHS tape contents

When I try to transfer the video from a personal VHS tape that has several different taping episodes taken with a camera over a period of several months, the saved file on the computer only retains the most recent taping episode. Total time on the tape is 57 minutes, but only the last 15 minute taping time is saved.
