Bose amlifier I need to know what color wire is the power wire and what voltage it is going to the bose amp in my infinity 2005 g35 coupe i would like to know wich wire is the remote wire also
Power wire is usually yellow or red. A cheap test light from the parts store will tell you. The remote wire is almost alway solid blue. A volt meter will tell you for sure. Remember, the remote wire is very low voltage.

You really never need the part number, because you order by 'year make model'. Sometimes they will ask for VIN Number, but not often. Or you go into the dealership parts department and you just ask for one.
This is a common problem on the early year G35s and also on Infiniti/Bose head decks in general.
The stereo can be removed and sent to an electronics repair shop who can replace the damaged components, or you can go with an aftermarket solution.
I believe this problem has somethind to do with the laser going bad, but I could be wrong. I've seen this on numerous Maximas and I30s as well as G35s.
If the window will not go up or down here is what I found it to be from experience.
1. Simply the window motor has burned out and it needs to be replaced. Which is a common problem on first generation G35 coupes and sedans.
2. The window sub switch does not work properly (switch that has the unlock/lock button and window up and down button) it is a white box that needs to be replaced.
I'm sure you found this already, but I'm posting the result for other people if they ask this same question in these forums. I used this DIY, and this is very accurate, except i didn't need a breaker bar.
