Question about Heating & Cooling
The clock keeps resetting and so the floor heats up at the wrong times. I've asked Siemens but they've said it's steam in the bathrooms. Why on earth they didn't make a mention of that is beyond me, because the control pad could have gone in the wardrobe. All the same, even when there's no steam the thing resets. I rang Siemen's again and was told to *bring it in*. I informed them that it's wired in and I'm not an electrician. She said to get an electrician to take it out so I could bring it to them, but there's no guarantee they could fix it. Man, talk about Mohammad and the mountain. Anyone else had this problem?
A common problem with a particular batch of thermostats, We have sold hundreds of them .The reset occurs with high humidity eg steam. This resets the unit. The solution is to use circuit board sealant on the back of the circuit board and problem disappears forever.
