Question about Toshiba Portege 3500 Tablet PC
I have blind zones on my screen using the pen on toshiba 3500 tablet pc. mouse works ok. cannot correctly calibrate pen, only detects on left side.
Had the same problem. Just open the tablets screen enclosure. Look at the back of the LCD panel. You will see a little circuit board with several black plastic connectors. Push all these connectors firmly to the PCD. You will notice that one or more have come a bit loose. Before closing the lcd panel housing, put some adhesive tape over the connectors. This will prevent them from failing again.

It's a digitizer (hardware part of LCD screen) problem, U can try to buy that part and replace it or just squeeze a little bit LCD screen on the edges around (don't squeeze the screen itself but just black plastic frame around the screen) - it helped my Toshiba for a while :)
