I was trying to record documents on a cd when I got the following message: Code erreur 380394-26-2A030C00

HI ,
1° It could come from the cd . Try with other models .
2° Go to my computer and right click on dvd device and click on properties then click on recording see if your decice is checked for burning.
3° Try restoring your computer to an earlier date , when your drive used to work fine .
4° Connect an external device and see what happens . If it works , your burner needs to be replaced .
Best regards .

380381-26-2A030C00 I get this error code whenever I try to burn a cd. Trying to figure out what is the problem because the burner works perfectly on dvds. Thanks for your help

Hello,
Trying other burning software is a good Idea, windows itself has native cd burning support, through media player for example. It won't be a codec issue unless you are converting from an MP3 or similar.

Try burn with deep burning

Download it from following bellow link

http://www.deepburner.com/?r=products&pr=deepburner

I personally don't like codec packs, they fill your system with codecs you never use and aren't as up to date as the individual codecs.

I always install Koepis's latest Xvid Codec and AC3 filter and that's it unless something fails to play, then I find the relevant codec.

The question regarding DMA is also worth following up, from device manager you need to check the properties of the IDE controller the drive is connected to - can take a bit of trial and error to find the right one. It should be set to "DMA if available" and the current transfer mode should be something like "DMA mode 2" ( depending on the drive ) If it is in PIO mode that will cause issues.

Hope this helps.

If you are helped you can rate on the 4 thumbs and leave a short comment, because,
this is the free side and I can get the chance, to help people like you .
Thanks for using fixya .

We have an EZ Dupe 9 burner that used to burn dvds in the past. We started recording our sermons on dvd and finalizing them, but they won't copy in our EX Dupe? serial number 190605054

Dianna:

There should also be an error message associated with the unit not being able to duplicate DVDs when you attempt to do them in the duplicator. Please provide that error message or whether or not it locks up. Also, given this is somewhat difficult to do over the internet, please feel free to call us @ 877-686-8868 x208 for technical support and we will be glad to assist you. Thank you for your inquiry.

Sincerely,

What do you when it says target disck is not ready on a duplicator

Your disk *WITH* the data is the "source" disk.

Your "blank" disk is the "target" media.

Try a different "blank" disk.
If not any better, then take the unit to a computer technician, to trouble-shoot the hardware that is used to write onto the "target" media.

EZ Dupe CD/DVD Duplicator keeps giving the error message, 'Source Not ready" No matter how many different CDs I put in the top disc slot, it keeps detecting an error

Have you tried cleaning the lens?

3M makes a CD lens cleaner that is a playable CD with micro brushes sticking out of the surface of the CD.
You can find them at office supply stores, K-mart, etc. I don't remember where I bought mine, but it works great for a CD-recorder that I use in a high dust environment.

Here's a link to one that I just found by googling "3m cd lens cleaner"

I've never dealt with that vendor before, but it has a picture of the product so you can see what I'm talking about.

Problem with my Asus p5pe-vm motherbord. When i start it,the message CPU uCode loading error appears. What to do...HELPPPPPPP

If your over clocking your CPU settings reset to default. See if you still get the error. If you still get the error than update your bios. There are a couple of way to do this. You can use the software on your Asus CD or you can down load the latest BIOS-Utilities, Afudos BIOS update tool V2.36. Than download the bios file, P5PE-VM BIOS 1501.

Using built-in EZ Flash to flash BIOS Please be informed that not all motherboards support EZ Flash,
please use DOS flash utility to update BIOS if your motherboard does not support EZ Flash; http://support.asus.com/technicaldocuments/technicaldocuments.aspx?no=960&SLanguage=en-us
