SOURCE: LP gas conversion on an LG dryer
Mr. D, make sure you have a little time, you have to remove a few things. 1. Remove the 3 screws in back which hold the top on. Slide the top back and lift off. 2. Remove the two screws on each end of the control panel frame. (inside). Disconnect the control panel harness, pull up and foward, place aside. Remove the 4 screws on the top of the front cover, disconnect the harness for the door switch and it should pull foward. Now I believe you can get at the gas valve on the lower right. Make sure to reverse the limiter as well as putting on the new orfice. If you need any further help, e mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org Will be home this evening. Catriver.

yes it is very much necessary. the natural gas pressure is much lower that LP. it is @3.5 in, water column. The monometer is a pressure reading instrument that will tell what pressure is present at the gas source, appliance gas manifold and gas valve. Read the conversion kit instructions well. And adjust pressure according to data plate specifications. A u-tube water monometer is the best and most accurate however a standard analog will surfice. Please use caution.

call your lp provider as they often will send out a tech to do this conversion for free. after all you will be buying the gas from them.
