Intermitent heat from Atwood 10 gal marine water heater

Our 2008 10 galllon Atwood marine hotwater delivers hot water when our freshwater tank is full and then stops delivering hot water when the freshwater tank is half full? No breakers are tripped. Full flow of water from hotwater tap at all times but it runs cold when the supply tank reaches about half full?

Have an atwood 10 gal water heater that leaks but I can't find the leak. The lines are dry. Have a lot of water in interior under the bathroom tile.

Also open cover and check if element is leaking. Elements frequently leak at rubber seal.
Next suspect is rusted-out tank that is leaking through a thin-place in the tank.

Otherwise there are not many other places to check if pipes are dry, especially with the Atwood 10 gallon.
I suggest replacement.

My Atwood 6 gal. water heaters pressure relief valve starts dripping shortly after (8 or 10 min.) heat is called for, and dripping gets stronger until a full flow. I have checked all four hi-limits and...

If the water seems hotter than normal, then a faulty thermostat would be a good bet.
If water doesn't seem any hotter than normal, then check incoming water pressure.
usually 2 things cause that, too much pressure coming in, or thermostat faulty and not cutting out when normal temperature reached, thus higher temperature, and pressure. If both them check out, replace valve.

Have a 2005 coach w/Atwood DSI-RV 6 gal water heater. Gas lights, heater fires and gets hot, but doesn't transfer the hot water through the lines to the sink faucets. jwmystery@aol.com

You need to check by-pass valve(s) on back of tank for proper position. You need cold open going in to bottom tank fitting, and hot open at top. If any valves in between those 2 lines via "T"'s, turn them to off position.

I have hotwater in the tank but none at the faucets.

By-pass may be faulty. Are you getting good pressure on hot side, even though not hot?

Water heater working fine but very little hot water coming out

alot of time those small units do not have a fast recovery rate so if they are on for a min or more they might start to lose temperature. if it's on demand especially in cooler climates it might not have enough power to heat it up and keep up with your demand

You have a cracked dip tube. Part at hd is under 10 dollars. Remove and replace via cold water inlet side top of water heater. Degree of labor skill 1-10 = 8.
