Question about Samsung BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Player
Red standby light is on, but unable to turn on player (either with remote or manually). Note: I had successful upgrade to 1600 some months ago. This is first time I have had an issue (since then).
Hi, unfortunately, this is a serious control fault and you will need to replace the main PC Board in this unit in order to restore proper functions. The stand by mode has be initiated due major IC damage across the main board(PCB).
Simply replacing this board will fix this issue.i will post a link to the actual part you will need to purchase for this repair. if you are uncomfortable with disassembling this device, i would recommend contacting Samsung for a repair ticket and a near by repair depot location in your area for this repair.
