Drop the bottom panel by removing the 3 screws on the bottom, pull down and off. On the right side attached to the bottom of the door switch (on the inside) is a teardrop release tab. Pull down on it and the door will open. The F06 code is a motor tachometer error. The control is unable to detect the motor speed. While you have the panel off, check the harness that goes from the motor to the motor control board. The motor control board is the one on the bottom. Reseat the harness's for a good connection. If you can use a meter, check the motor windings, pins 1 to 2, 2 to 3 and 1 to 3 should read approx 6 ohms. Next, take the top off the washer by removing the 3 screws in back and sliding the top off toward the back. The main control board is in back. Make sure all the harness's are seated good. The third harnes from the right is the motor control power, re-seat it. On the left side of the board, last harness toward the back is the serial communication link. Re-seat it. On the motor control board on the bottom the communication link is the one toward the bottom, the center one is the motor connector and the top one is the power supply. If this doesn't solve the problem and your motor ohms out. I would tend to believe that the motor control board is the problem
