How do I connect DS to another to play the same game

In the game there should be a multiplayer menu. From there you should be able to decide whether or not it's a multi-card game. If not then have the other player go onto the "DS Download Play" tab in the start menu and tap on the game that he/she wants to play.

No compatible access point in range - error code 51099

The Following website lists your Error Code. Per Nintendo:
"Likely cause: It appears that the settings entered into the Nintendo DS are not compatible, or the router's broadcast settings should be changed.
How to fix: Try creating a new connection with your system. Nintendo DSi owners trying to play multiplayer games will want to be sure to read the "Trying to play online multiplayer with Nintendo DSi."

Greetings,

You must have Pokemon Colosseum for the Wii for this to work.
  1. Start Pokemon Colosseum.
  2. Go to the regular multiplayer battle option.
  3. Press the option for wireless Ds play.
  4. Follow on screen instructions and start your Pokemon Platinum game when indicated.
Thank you for using FixYa! =) If I helped, please give me a rating.

DS Lite Internet

Option 1: Your DS could not have a wireless access point to connect to, Make sure you have that, And, If it doesn't fix it, Proceed to Option 2.

Option 2: Your Game may not have Wi-Fi, If you have the box, Look at the back, Does it have wireless icons? If not, That game doesn't have wireless, Also, There is a small blue circle on the front of the game that means Over-The-Internet play. Also, GBA games cannot play Multiplayer on the NDS. Also, You and the other player may need to have each-other's Friend codes to play.

If you are still having the problem, See here.

How to i get to play two players on the Nintendo ds lite

You can play multiplayer games with a Nintendo DS Lite even if you don’t possess a copy of the game. If one of your friends has a multiplayer game card, they can use their Nintendo DS Lite as a host for the game session and you can join the multiplayer game.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); });
Things You'll Need:
  • Nintendo DS Lite
Using One Card to Host the Game
  1. Step 1 Look on the game’s packaging for the "Multiplayer" icon. If the game requires only one player to have a copy of the game, the icon will show two DS Lites: a DS Lite with a black screen transmitting waves to a DS Lite with a white screen. Below the two DS Lites is a range of numbers which indicates how many players the game can support.
  2. Step 2 Put the game card in the Nintendo DS Lite that is acting as the host for the multiplayer game session and start it up.
  3. Step 3 Have the other players turn on their systems. They will use the main menu screen to access the "DS Download Play" icon. They need to tap the icon to begin downloading the game information from the host DS Lite.
  4. Step 4 Begin playing when all of the systems have finished downloading the game information from the host.
  5. Multiple Cards for Multiple Players
  6. Step 1 Look at the "Multiplayer" icon. If every player in the game session needs a copy of the game in order to play, the icon will show two DS Lites, both with black screens, transmitting waves toward each other. A range of numbers is under this graphic and indicates how many people can play at one time.
  7. Step 2 Read the game's instruction manual on how to set up the game session. The steps required vary by company and sometimes by title within the same company.

Muliplayer link problem Littlest Pet Shop Garden

You need to have 2 copies of the game. It can be any of the three,(jungle, winter and garden). The multiplayer action is very limited, so unless you think both kids will like the game at the same time(mine did) it may not be worth buying the second game.

First, it depends on what game it is, NOT ALL GAMES have a DS Download feature.

If you are using a game with the DS Download feature, have the host DS set up the game, this would just be going through the multiplayer then DS Download function.

Next, make sure you both are in the same area (10 or so feet), basically if you can be in the DS Chat with your Local Wireless Connection, you can use your DS Download feature.

While the host DS is sending the signal, the other DS will have a feature in the main DS menu (If you have auto-start on, hold start while starting up the DS and going past the warning screen), it will be called DS Download Play.

Have the person receiving the signal click that option and their DS will search for any games being sent in the general area. Then all the person with the receiving DS has to do is click the icon and he/she will connect with the hosting DS.

The receiving DS will not keep the game on the hardrive on the DS, but he/she will be able to play with you; your best bet however is to get a second cartridge, but that part is your call.
