First off, check the supply cord. They usually dry out and the insulation crumbles, particularly at the point where they enter the body or motor. They short out. I've replaced cords on antique stand mixers I own. It can be a tricky operation.
Is the motor seized? Can you turn it by hand? (NOT plugged in, of course.)
If all else fails, send it to me and I'll fix it for a reasonable fee, if it is fixable at all.

e bay is allways a good place to start . but from what i have seen unless its a real "cream puff" 25.00 -50.00 is all your going to get .... you might just keep it right now ..... prices are real low ,people are not buying ANYTHING .........good luck
