Question about Sony Beyond the Beyond for PlayStation 1
Try cleaning your cd with a cotton shirt or a tissue. Try again. If it doesn't work, you may have a bad game or a bad console. Try other games. If they also do not work, your console may need to be replaced. Do not fret; a used PlayStation should be under $15 online or at a video game store.

Yes, you have a disc problem. Some PS1 games have audio MP3 , or WAV files on them, and poor reading sometimes will pick up the audio tracks and not the Game data. You could be having a Laser alignment issue, but if other PS1 games are working fine, you do not.
