I wont you to help me as to how i can make a photocopy using my canon ir 3100cn machine. than you

have you ever operated a copier? it,s so simple place the originals face up on the DADF. SELECT the no. of copies. there will be option available on display for selecting whether you want B&W or color copies like b&w, auto color, full color etc. there will be copy ratio button for zoom(25%-400%). Now press start button.
For two sided copying press "two sided". There you will have mainly two options (i) 1>2 sided:- converts two single sided documents in to a two sided copy (ii)2>2 sided:- converts a 2 sided document into a 2 sided document. normally both will be done in book type for normal orientation.

Wrong count

FYI, if copy 1 side of A4, then is count as 1. If both sides, count as 2.
If copy 1 side of A3, then is count as 2. If both sides, count as 4.
That's the default settings on the MFP.

If u want to be copy 1 side of A3 and count as 1, u need to adjust the setting mode.
Press 08 and ON MFP, Enter 346, change "1" to "0".

EP 4000 Drawer Duplex

The duplexer is for 2 sided copies. You can take 2 single sided copies and make (duplex) them into 1 double sided copy. You can take double sided copies and make more double sided (2 sided) copies with the duplexer. You can also take double sided copies and make single sided copies. Hope this helps.

How to use

Does the copier have a duplexer? Automatic 2-sided copying (duplexing) was an optional feature for the EP2030. If there is a drawer in the lower section of the copier labeled "duplex" then your unit has this feature.

To use it, simply select 1>2 (for single-sided originals) or 2>2 (for 2-sided originals) on the "Orig>Copy" section of the control panel (toward the left side).

If your copier is not equipped with a duplexer, the only way you can make 2-sided copies is to copy the first side and then load the copies back into the paper tray or the manual bypass on the right side of the unit.

Note the the copier copies on the bottom side of paper fed from the paper trays, and the top side of paper fed from the manual bypass.

You can download a .pdf file of an operator's manual for this copier from the Konica Minolta website.

Canon imageCLASS MF6530; can't set up duplex (2sided) printing

hi there
there are 2 ways to copy 2 sided
one is full duplex which means your copier must have a duplex attatchment fitted on the copier lid
the other if it hasn't got a duplexer is to copy in 1 to 2 mode which means you have to turn the copy over. it sounds like your machine has not got a duplexer fitted but it can still do double sided using 1 to 2.

hope this helps

Legal Sized 2-sided Copies through Automatic Feed

Does the copier print correctly when copying off the glass? I suspect that the document feeder has been set up to feed other paper sizes eg A4, A4R. Because of the conflict between sizes the copier adjust the image.
