Reduce the number of walls the signal has to travel through. Move your camera closer to the router or ensure a line of sight.

providing model #s in your question would be useful. Depends on the output of the camera, it has to match your TV or computer. If the camera has a RCA output and you TV has a RCA input, plug it in and your fine. If the camera has a Ethernet or wi-fi output, it has to go to your router then to your computer. If you can port internet to your TV, then you can get the camea also on the TV.
