Motor overload protector keeps tripping under heavy use

Started happening with wet towels and rugs getting worse with time. Trips more often now.

Don't think its the motor trip which appears to be working and the motor connections haven't changed under heavy loading; not sure if load on the friction ring around the collar changes if the dryer is used more or filledup; so my best guess is the moter.....I think a more experienced person might be able to eliminate a couple of the suspected solutions........but thanks for the effort, I do appreciate it.

The friction ring around the collar where the door is could be worn. I suspect something is causing the motor to work too hard, or the motor trip is bad, or you have loose connections to your motor, or your motor is getting weak and may need replaced.

Next time it happens and it trips.. use a dry towel to unplug kettle, just in case.

Is the base wet? Check the kettle for cracks. Check the cable. Is it damaged? Try replacing the fuse in the plug. Is the steam that the kettle produces affecting lighting or other electrical items around it? Try moving the kettle to a different location.

You probably just have a circuit breaker that's become weak or is overloaded running other things as well as your machine. Have you tried an outlet powered by a different breaker? Also, if you're using an extension cord it will raise the resistance and the current draw.

Goulds pump model BGR75 won't reset. Any tips.

If the motor runs but keeps tripping the overload, the motor is bad or the motor is under a big load. Does it pump water? If not, check the impeller and see if there is anything wrong with it. If it does pump water and the motor trips overload, the only thing left to check is the overload. Check the motor's amp draw and if within specs, replace overload. If amps are too high, replace motor.

My dishwasher doesn't start. When I press start button the light turns down and every appliances turn off. kindly advice if it is related to electrical system or not

If the main circuit TRIPS off the moment the dish washer is started , then it is possible that there is a heavy short within the washer.
To find out the reason you will need to discconnect the power to the washer, the disconnect the power to the controller unit, the motor and the inlet vavle. Using a multimeter you can checck for short in the circuit. If so isolate the circuit.
Now reconnect and see if the power trips, is so isolate one by one the circuit till you come to the failed component. It can be the power controller, valve, motor, capacitor or surge protector.

E2 Rainbow vacuum motor protector

Some possible ideas:
Make sure the cone shaped air impeller does not have hair/thread/fibers wrapped around it. This will cause the motor to work harder, and trip the protector.
Make sure you are not overfilling the vacuum with water. If the water is touching the impeller, that will also cause it to move slower, and trip the protector.
Other than that, i'd have to examine it.
Hope that helps!

Most likely a motor coupling. Take off the cabinet by removing the screws around the control panel. Take of the pump by releasing the 2 clips on the top and bottom. Take off the motor with same 2 clips but they are probably screwed on as well. the coupling is right there. They will break if a machine is overloaded.

Amana 2002 top loader washer model AlW880QAW

The overload protector is in the motor. Once it heats up, it trips. You likely have something not moving to cause it to trip. Pull your washer forward and tilt it back to about a 45 degree angle. (it will rest against the wall behind it instead of falling forward) Remove the belt and rotate all 3 pulleys to make sure they are moving freely. If the pump pulley (the one on the right hand side)doesn't rotate, you likely have a forign object in there or just a bad pump. If the transmission pulley (the large one in the middle) doesn't rotate, check for forign objectes between the tub and backet. If the one on the left doesn't rotate, it's time for a new motor.

Kenmore washer model # 110.24086200

The C1 code indicates the "instantaneous current limit" trip. This signifies problems with the drive motor, thermal protector, motor controller. Overloading the machine will cause high amps and trip the unit. Instantaneous current trip occurs if there is a current spike of 26 amps instantly at the motor windings in which the motor overload trips. check bearings for lubrication - or as stated above overloading the washer.
