you dont mention what types of files you downloaded but, I'll try some basics. if your security settings require downloads to be from google play or the samsung app store, you have to reconfigure your settings. Also, the downloads must be android compatible. if they need flash, you will need a browser with flash built in like puffin as flash stand alones are useless. finally, you deleted files to make room? you might need to be certain you didn't delete any essential files or files attached to factory installed programs. without knowing what downloads you are trying or where they were downloaded from. I can offer nothing further. good luck
Samsung 3 have issues with the charging inlet. Make sure its not a battery charge issue. If it is the battery not being charged, purchase a charging back (replaces your removable clip-on back) and a charging pad. Samsung do not manufacture these items (they tell you to go to eBay!), you will need to source them from eBay, cheap enough at about $25 for both delivered within 28 days. Please be aware that Samsung3 have a 2 year warranty, & they will do a courier pickup for repairs, but you may lose your data. So the Charging back & pad is a good option to fire up your phone to, for instance, print off your photos. Transfer of data still requires a working dock. Hope that helps you.
Go to the App Store on your Springboard (the menu). Then search for WhatsApp on the search bar on the top-right of the screen. Make sure you have a working data/ WiFi connection.
The best way to determine if any app is compatible with your device is simply to look it up inside the Google Play app. Google Play will only allow you to download apps that have been tested and confirmed be compatible. If you land on an app that is indeed incompatible it will tell you so. As far as the AVG Security app goes I've never used it. I'm partial to the Avast Security Suite myself from day one. It's straight forward to use yet extremely powerful. I love you can even have it automatically do a anti virus scan seven days a week.
