Question about Sharp 25J-M100 TV
I'm planning to buy a PC to TV cable as a gift for my DH to use with our Sharp 25J-M100 tv which he picked up at a sale. I'm unable to figure out the what type of input jacks are present on the TV. I can see one jack for audio and another for video. Please clarify.
Our laptop is a Dell Inspiron E1405 which has the following output jacks - Video: 15-pin monitor connector and S-Video: 7-pin mini-DIN connector (I think those are the VGA and S-Video jacks, correct me if I am wrong).
Appreciate your inputs/ suggestions on what all I need to purchase so that we can stream internet videos/programs to our TV.
You can purchase an s-video to composite video connector to view your Dell computer's television output on your sharp CRT television, though the image will be a bit blurry because of the connection and CRT technology limitations, though streaming video probably can be seen just fine. An example of an s-video to composite video connector can be found here: http://www.svideo.com/svideorca.html
but you probably can find a cheaper priced unit somewhere else, maybe even at radioshack.
I hope this helps!
