Re: Panasonic Quintrix 28'',flat screen TV

With that problem you can fix it by simply knowing some secret codes of your remote control but to know those codes you need service manual of that particular tv model, you may look at the back of your tv set and let me know the specific model..... I'll try to find service manual for you

I have a Panasonic Quintrix which only seems to store some channels when you retune for new channels, eg BBC 1 has gone and been replaced with 4tv interactive. Any ideas how to get it back?

You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW. See the following link for additional information

If the above process does not work then check the link above for additional information and also visit the accompanying site links below to find more information for your model of TV / FREEVIEW box.

Cant turn off panasonic PIP

To turn off the "stuck" pip on a Panasonic tv without a remote, turn off the tv. Then hold down the "Action" button on the front of the tv and press the power button. This will activate a reset and self check of the systems and voila! The pesky pip screen will be gone! This is on an approximately 10 year old regular crt "CT-xxxxx" series tv.

you have to get into the tv to do the adjustment. take the cover off and then look for the CRT tube and follow the yoke cables that will lead you to the printed circuit. you should see some small tiny knobs there. something like vertical phase or horizantl need the verital to adjust the vertical size of the pic..good luck

Picture on Panasonic tv intermittently becomes striated and bottom half of picture shows on top half of screen

Hello! What you're describing sounds like a vertical deflection problem if it also occurs when you're watching a TV program. This type of trouble is a component failing in the vertical circuit of your set. A loose solder connection could cause this. On the other hand, if it just happens when you run the VCR, your problem could be somewhere in the tape drive mechanism or possibly a bad tape. Things like slipping clutches, bad belts sticking guide rollers are a few things that will cause this in a VCR. You need to have a tech check it for you. Hope this gives you some help. Stargazer
