Question about GE WBSR3140DW Top Load Washer
I never use the fabric softner in center of the agitator, the larger white cap? keeps flying off during wash cycles. now I am having what appears to be bearing grease coming out of the bottom of agitator. Im afraid to wash a load of clothes fear of getting grease all over clothes.

Pour really, really hot water into it and that should disperse the fabric softerner...then run the washer with NO clothes in it...good luck

Can't help ya, as mine is doing the same thing. Not so much none of it, but there is always some left over in the f.s. compartment. I have tried adding water, but there is still some left over. It dries, and gets gummy. Every so often, I remove the drawer and clean it off.
