Hi there I have a Bosch SGV4313GB/17 Dishwasher the problem is there insuffient water pressure to feed the washer arm and they are not rotating Ihave cleaned the arms and circulation pump impeller with white vinegar ,I have also overriden the door switch and operated the dishwasher with arms removed and the circulation pump seem to be working but with insuffient pressure also the machine does not fill to the depth it did when it was fine! How does one tell if it is the impeller or the diverter which is faulty?

Ours is a SHU3300UC/06 model, basic model which we bought in 1999 so have had 9 years of trouble free service.
Recently we noticed that there was soap left in the soap dispenser after the machine had finished all the cycles. On further inspection we noticed that the upper level glasses, cups and bowels are not consistently clean and it appears that the upper washing arm is not working properly. At the back of the upper washer arm, there is a rectangular piece that slides over the two water outlet tubes projecting out of the back of the washer which supply H20 to the upper arm. On removing the upper arm and the rectangular connector, I noticed there is an inner place that I think is supposed to work like a washer that fits tightly over the 2 water outlet tubes in the protruding from the back of the washer. I noted that the upper opening in the washer/seal is broken so a proper seal is not established. This would cause insufficient water pressure getting to the upper arm and reduce its effectiveness. Now I'm trying to find the replacement part. It appears to be something than can easily be replaced.

Sounds like you have a seal or impeller problem. Its not so user friendly to try and tackle this one. I suggest that you try to contact an expert to do the job for you. I believe this is a common problem for Bosch dishwashers.

Well, another possibility is that your check valve (stops water from coming back) is busted. This seldom happens but you might want to check it out. I hope this helps you in isolating the problem.

Why doesn't my Bosch SHU43 c06uc dishwasher have any cleaning force?

With your dishwasher empty, roll out the bottom rack. The feed line for the upper spray arm runs from a pump outlet directly behind the lower spray arm spindle. This tube runs up the back wall of the dishwasher and mates with the upper rack when it is pushed in.

This feed tube simply snaps into place in the bottom of the machine. It is a high pressure line that makes an immediade 90-degree bend towards the rear of the unit. They have a tendency to pop out. When and if it does pop out you get almost no water coming out of the upper arm and you lose effective pressure in the lower arm, too. The cure is to push that feed tube back down firmly into the port until you hear it snap into place. While you have the lowere rack out it is a good idea to clean the intake screen out and check for any debris in the intake well.

Suspect arms not rotating

there is insuffient water in appliance it needs 32 litres to wash properly and have enough pressure for wash pump to drive spray arms round this is quite easy to fix but messy, remove base panel plastic and metal one behind this exposing a plastic corrugated hose this will be blocked with fat limescale etc and needs cleaning it is a push fit with o rings pull out clean pipe refit and all should be well.also check holes on ends of spray arms are not blocked as they will not rotate but water will still come out

hope this helps

Bosch dishwasher - top row of dishes do not get clean

There is a screen that you can remove from the sump of the dishwasher to clean. Just twist it to the left and pull it out. I have some tips that you might want to check out if this does not resolve your problem.

Not enough water Pressure to clean dishes, 6yr old Bosch

Replace the pump, if you go through the trouble of repairing the pump and all the disassembly and then more problems will probably ensue. As far as location it is usually located under the washer. Accessed through the front service panel. Make sure you follow all safety procedures #1 being unplug the washer or turn off breaker prior to proceeding.

Top arm not spinning

only the top rack isnt getting clean?
there is a little plastic circle in the middle of the bottom of the upper spray arm. turn it counter clock wise to pull the upper spray arm from the upper rack. make sure that isnt clogged and the spray holes are not clogged. otherwise....

the piece that the bottem spray arm plugs into and runs along the back wall of the tank to the top is called a feed tube. pull the bottom spray arm out. now you can see the part of the feed tube that feeds the upper spray arm water. does it pop out freely and easily? if so then you need a new feed tube, if not then its most likely your not achieving the right water level or your impeller connected to your circulation pump(motor) is clogged not supplying enough water pressure to travel up the feed tube to spin the upper spray arm.

Dishwasher draining - Bosch SGV4313GB/17

This is generally because of a stuck diverter solenoid. The water goes to the pump and then is either sent to the wash arms or the drain. Also, check the drain.
