It is a roper by whirlpool to loading and a older model and it want wash or spin its making a noise at the bottem .
I need more info about the machine. Does it make any noise when the start button is pressed, if you can hear the motor turning then more than likely your belt is either after slipping off the drum or breaking. you should be able to access the belt either by the back of the macine or the top to see if the belt is broke or just after slipping. Another problem it could be is that the capacitor in your macine could have blown. To test this you press start, open the door of the machine, spin the drum by hand and close the door before the drum comes to a stop, if the drum continues to rotate after you close the door then you know it is the capacitor that is blown, this needs to be replaced either by an electrician or a specialist as it is possibe to connect the capacitor wrong and the result would be the capacitor exploding damaging your hand. Always plug out the machine before opening the top or back of the machine.

Remove washer cabinet (easy to remove)and check that "base pads" (there are 3 pads, located under the main tub)are not worn. In case they are worn (even one of them), you should replce them all. Good luck !!
SOURCE: Whirlpool LHW0050PQ Front Loading Washer VERY NOISY during spin cycle
remove the top access panel 3 screws in top rear.
now look around and push on the drum from top
it has suspension shocks and springs like your car they should resist any movements.
look/wiggle the concrete balance blocks , no cracks or loose.
inside the tub are the arm solid /not loose.
run it with the top open what do you see/hear and where
look under the rubber flap in front did anything get under the tub

Hi,
Your problem is probably much more than the washer being out of balance. The front load washers have shock absorbers that hold them from moving all over the place. These have a habit of breaking. Then the drum hammers and sounds like things are flying apart. Pull the bottom front off and check the shocks. Typically the rings where the pins go throuhg are where they will break. Sometimes at first they look okay and you have to grab them and move them to see that they are broken.
I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!
Thanks for using Fixya!!
