i believe that was a symptom of the game not being read.

Its not recognizing the game in the slot - or that it is pushed all the way down.

All you can do is keep trying

The contacts are dirty. Either on the game you are trying to play or on the system its self.
To clean the game, just use some q-tips and windex. Spray the windex on the q-tip and then rub the contacts. Try to not leave any of the q-tip fuzz on the contacts (don't rub to vigorously). And then make sure to let it dry (should be pretty quick!)
There may be a more appropriate cleaning solution to use instead of windex, but it works and everyone has it.
As for the contacts inside the nes, i forget if you can get at them with a q-tip...
Maybe hold off on that and just try cleaning the game.

A malware like virus or incompatible software, so does broken hardware may lead to computer keeps restarting. To fix your computer you can try the following steps.
1.You should troubleshooting whether if the computer restarts every time a certain hardware device is plugged in or switched on, the device itself might be to blame. Check drivers update for the device, and download and install them to erase any bugs that might exist in your version. Similarly, if the freeze only happens when using one particular application, that program might also be the root cause. Otherwise switch to step 2.
2.It can be a possibility that the virus has tampered with your operating system settings and system files. You can detect the presence of the virus by the antivirus program.
3.The most convenient and effective way is to use a professional software, there are kinds of software for you to fix the issue online. I've triedWindows Boot Geniuslast time, it can totally be used to fix such kind of issue. But the key to this issue is that the software is not a free one, so I suggest you to combined with the actual situation.

My roadmate1210 keeps saying I have to restart, how do I resart?

Sounds to me like it's a software issue. Let me guess, it says "Unit needs to be restarted to improve performance" then it shuts down and restarts, and cycles again. SOLUTION: Try updating your software, it's free. call magellan tech support, they'll walk you through.

After much blowing into the game and constant restarts, the N64 will finally begin the game, only to suddenly constantly restart itself. Has anyone experienced this problem and solved it?

Well its because the system is going bad for the console and it needs new processing software
You know how computers redo them selves when they have someting wrong with their software so an N64 console is like that but a simple software so when it re sets its self its like im going to fix it but it cant so this will just keep on happening then.

Can't load Windows, constant restarts.

There could be several issues, but random restarts can be difficult to debug. For now, I'd start with the easiest and that is a memory check.

Visit www.memtest86.com and download the free bootable floppy or CD (burn the ISO file with free ImgBurn utility if you have no ISO burning application).

Boot the problem system with the floppy or CD and the memory test should start automatically. Let it run over night and see if errors are reported.
