If the light comes on and the coffee is not brewing than it is the heat plate temperature fuse. You need tamper torx bits to open the bottom unit and replace the fuse, radio shack sells them. I have had to change several of these on Delonghi products. These are mechanical connections and the leads need to be crimped properly or the unit will fail.

The on/off toggle switch on the side of my model no. 3107 has fallen off. I would like to replace it.

I was able to fix mine - it was a failure of the pivot points, I drilled out where they'd been, put the switch back together, and inserted a brad (tiny nail) for a new pivot. Works great!

How do I replace a delonghi typ 3107 dual rocker

Remove one phillips head screw that is located approximately 4 inches above the switch you are about to replace. The complete face of the heater can now be removed, then compress the four tabs on the back side of the switch to remove the switch through the cover.

I have a carrier heatpump model 38Q130300 when I turn the thetmostat to run the fan the heat comes on and stays on until I turn the fan off. Any Ideas. Thanks Doug

suggest starting with thermostat replacement only because it sounds as if the fan/heating control has constant power.
good luck
