Y isint my police scaner warking whin i put in the frequencies

Hi,

It's a Radio scanner, not a Police scanner.

460.3000 should work fine, but the others are not complete frequencies, Here are the completed list you have posted:
457.5125, 460.2875, 468.8375 the four digits following the Decimal must be filled in for the scanner to work properly, otherwise it will monitor an adjacent, non reliable frequency instead.

There are a number of web sites that deal with radio scanning as a hobby, one of the best is www.radioreference.com, but there are many more.

They give great info, and all have links to hints a tips on scanning and how to info that would be an asset to any newbie like your good self.

I hope I have assisted you in your query.

Cheers,
Peter

Why won't FM radio work on the Motorola 6310 two-way radio?

Hi,

It's a two way communications radio, not a broadcast radio, hence it won't receive FM/AM broadcast radio stations.

You should not confuse the two as they work on different radio bands, most FM broadcast radios are on the 86-108MHz bands, whereas two way radios operate on the following bands:
1-86MHz, 108-174MHz, 220-520MHz & 865-920MHz

I don't know which band your radio works on, but not broadcast bands I'm sure.

The only exception to this is the smaller hand helds, which may have FM broadcast programmed, but if this is the case with yours, This issue is out of the realm of two way radio queries, as Broadcast radio is not two way radio, but one way radio, and I'm not competent enough to answer Broadcast radio issues.

How do I re-program my Yaesu FTC-1143 to the Ameatur 70m Band

Hi Rick,

If I'm not Wrong, You have the UHF Model radio, and therefore can't program VHF frequencies as it's the wrong band. If I am wrong, then you have a dual band radio, which should be pre-programmed with all the correct frequencies for both 2m & 70cm bands.

I hope this answers your query.

Peter

My remote scanned all the tv channels (Cable TV, TV, DTV and Cable DTV). The channels that do not show up now are the Cable TV channels. They are there if I type in the channel number but the remote...

U are recieving an using DTV Free AIR broadcasting tv signal wright, get a better antena like a roof or a newly design digital antena for uses. This problems dose not happen to cable or sattellite services,i know this because their broadcasting tv signal frequencies are very strong and very high ranges of a broadcasting signal output for their recieving boxes.

Hi,

The T-4 has fixed frequencies, the only way that maybe could work is to send it to your distribution centre.

Trying to hook up jbl sr4732 speakers the highs are to loud compaird to the bass or lows. im only using a onkio with a 100 watt per speaker.

These JBL speakers are not made for a home stereo reciever. It could be part of the problem.

I do know that they have a high frequency input and a full range input on each speaker.

I am going to guess that maybe you have them connected to the high frequency input.

Are you using 1/4 inch jacks connecting to the input of the speakers?

I don't remember these speakers having a input for wires.

You may have another issue using these speakers with that reciever.

The JBL speakers are 4 ohms each, it is very likely that the onkyo requires 8 ohm speakers.

Look on the back of the Onkyo where the speaker jacks are at and see if it says anything about the minimum impeadance.

The impeadance is the ohms. Most home recievers are not designed for anything less than 8 ohms. Some are, but most are not.

Using 4 ohm speakers on a system that requires 8 ohm speakers can cause damage to the reciever. Mostly at higher volume levels, it will cause the reciever to overheat and shut off, maybe short out a channel. It pulls 2 times the amount of current thru the output transistors as 8 ohm speakers.

Let me know if this helps you or if you need more help.

Utilizing two microphones

No, when you buy multiple wireless mics you have to select different channels per unit if you want to use them on the same stage.

hope this helps
