Question about Sharp Televison & Video
Check and replace the video processor IC. As raster [screen] is there, all other stages, except, video processor section in the IC is working properly. There is no repair; other than replace the IC. Check the system settings. It sounds that video is muted. Enter into its Service Menu and check whether video is muted in its settings. Really this is a very skilled work, as knowledge about all function you see there. So be careful before changing any data values there.

View it in "Timeslide" option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. It will make search easy.
