They probably removed your battery cable during the repair (standard procedure) and forgot to reconnect the amplifier wire (not standard procedure).

Check the tires for proper air, or have tires balanced at a reliable tire shop. I would check to see if the wheel bearings are loose worn or out of adjustment. While you're at it check the shock absorbers and suspension components for wear or damage. Look to see if the stabilizer bar is broken or bent. Hope that Helps.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

Even if you are missing a lug nut it won't make a noise if the rest are tight. I suspect that the problem will be on the wheel bearing. The wheel bearing can be worn out that's why you hear a noise. I suggest that you go for the wheel bearing replacement to resolve the issue.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

I have a 1998 cavalier. My back wheel on drivers side was locking up so had a wheel cylinder replace and a brake line by just someone, then that didn''t help so I took it to all stars and they did...

its possible that the seals in the wheel cylinder were damaged from the previous problem when it didn`t fix the problem.was the replaced seal a new one or a used one that the someone installed or the seals were defective from the manufacture.also were the brakes shoes cleaned of the brake fluid that was on them from the original cylinder leaking on them as this can cause the brakes to lock up,as well as if the brakes are not adjusted properly can cause this as they will catch and turn with the drum until it can`t rotate any more causing the brakes to lock up.as far as the hardware missing then the person that replaced the wheel cylinder didn`t replace everything that they took off or didn`t know what was suppose to be there as far as parts.

Took 05 equinox to shop for wheel bearing work and shop called and said center carrier bearing needed replaced immediately. He told me that he would change it for $64 labor and $150 for the driveshaft...

It does seem a little bit shady. They should have done a full diagnosis on the repairs that were needed and then gotten you're approval before they proceeded with the repairs. If you didn't give them approval to do all that work, then they did it at their own risk. In my opinion you should only pay them for what you approved them to work on. What a hassle...good luck with that.

Cutlass Supreme new front wheel bearing repeatedly goes out

You may have pulled the inner tri-pod joint out of the cv shaft and that will make noise. Is the bearing really bad? Does it turn freely?

Anti lock and trac off

the abs wiring is in wheel bearing . you could have a bad bearing . a shop with a scanner could tell you witch one is bad or has wiring problems. aleros wiring run down lower control arm to wheel bearing. on control arm the wires get cut inside plastic loom and you cant see it till you pull them out and look .once you fix problem the lights will go out on there own.
