The age is determined by the SERIAL number. Please provide me with your number (located on a nameplate around the wash tub opening) and I can tell you when it was manufactured.

Please include ALL the information in the serial number which includes any letter characters.

I have the information you need. If you provide me a serial number (located on the nameplate along the wash tub opening), I can tell you when the washer was manufactured. All I need is the first two LETTERS and first two NUMBERS of the serial number.

How old is Kitchenaid washer model number KAWS750JQ3?

Without the serial number I can not say exactly, but the only reference I can find (and the fact that no one sells this exact model anymore) puts the age at 13-14 years old. These were made in 2001.

How old is my singer sewing machine model 413

Hi
I don't know exactly how old your machine is, but I found its operating manual here
http://www.singerco.com/uploads/download/05cd53760826209952d04b99bc6962f8ea588653.pdf
and it is clearly copyright 1971. I doubt that your machine is that old and its real age will be defined by the product life assigned by Singer before it was replaced by a different model. This should give you some idea though
Cheers

Hi - I'm in the market for a sewing machine. I'm trying to decide between a Singer 4832C or a Necchi 3205FA. Which would u recommend? Thx.

I used to sell necchi's, I have used necchi's for over 30 years for sewing & quiting. I own a necchi model 4595 mechanical sewing machine, & a omega by necchi, model 6150, electronic, my husband does his quiting on it.I have made clothes & quits on both machines
I have never sold or tried a necchi 3205fa or a singer 4832c
all I ever had were old singers, which I have gotten rid of all them
make sure it has a operation manual with it.
make sure you can take it back if something is wrong with it.
happy sewing

What is the value of my admiral sewing machine made in occupied japan with serial number a167994

Hi. The value of any sewing machine is purely subjective. Sewing machines were made by the millions and the ones made prior to about 1970 were generally extremely well engineered, constructed of metal, and--with just basic, routine maintenance-- will last for many decades. All my regular sewing is done on machines that range in age from 50 to 90 years.
Machines like yours aren't at all rare (sorry) but there are people out there who do like the old machines. You can look on Ebay to get a feel for how much people are willing to pay for machines like yours.
Sometimes a machine, such as Singer model 221 Featherweight, will become valuable. Quilters love this type of Singer because it's small, lightweight/portable, and has a marvelous stitch. One in excellent (meaning showroom) condition might sell for $400 or $500......but I could find any number of them at garage sales for $25.00 or less! (And there are lots of sewers out there who don't like them because all they do is straight stitch.)
This probably isn't what you want to hear. . . .

I need to know how old my yard-man tractor is...serial number 1L121H10152 . I want to sell it but don't know how old it is.

Machines are not sold with a year model as a reference to their age. When people look for machines to buy they want to know how many hours it has done. So look on the dash, there should be a little dial near the steering wheel with a H on it. This is an abreviation for hours. This is an easy mistake.

Have a gibson dryer trying to fiqure out how to get in it to replace the belt.

If it is a front loading machine, most of the time you will remove the top, then the front of the machine to get to the drum and belt. If you remove the drum and belt, the that will expose the drum rollers, idler arm with pulley and the motor.
While you got the drum out, I would recommend that you lubricate the drum rollers at the shaft with a good grade of machine oil like 3 in One oil. It will save you noise problems later.
Good luck,
I hope this helps

Washer stops at each cycle

Sounds like you have a roblem with the door switch, should be able to pop the top up and adjust the positon of the switch. Should also check the lid and make sure the plunger on the lid is not bent or broken.
