Ecu can it bee swapd over from other golf

As long as they are the same models then yes you can do that swap out, but really doubt the ECU is the problem, failure rate is less than 2% for electronic controls units.

HGMI are not working after the storm

Probably due to a power surge. Manufacturers do not build any extra tolerances into today's electronics, so they won't hold up against even the slightest out of tolerance issues. It keeps their costs down and ensures that these devices won't work much longer than their warranties. Standard surge suppressors don't cut it with these devices either. Your best bet to protecting your home theater and computer electronics is to use an UPS. They regulate voltage and protect the equipment against surges and more importantly, brownout conditions that can really damage equipment (something the surge suppressor cannot do).

I have an Eagle Ultra Plus Fish Finder( SERIAL # KU-037-4801) that I purchased in 1989 from Bass Pro. The unit's front plastic seal go cracked somehow and now the finger touch screen selections(...

I think your best bet here would be to contact the manufacturer directly on this one. (link below)
The trouble is... is the unit worth putting $ into or would you be better off buying a newer model.
You MIGHT get lucky and find a similar unit on ebay, but unless you're REAL handy with electronic repair I doubt if you would get any joy.

Sharp er a470 was changing faulty power cord and disconnected the keyboard, now after I put everything back together it won't come on. Checked power with multimeter, everything seems to be fine

Did you wear static protection while you were working inside? That's not for YOU, it's for the electronics. They're wicked sensitive to static.

BUT... it might also be the case that you just didn't plug everything back in perfectly. Go back inside, wearing static protection, and doublecheck every connector inside. EVERY connector, even if it's on the other side of the board.

You could try to look for video instructions on youtube, but I would not recommend if you don't have mechanical experience or experience with electronics, since the screws are really small so you need really small tools and the electronics are delicate and small too.

Wp-dc8 waterproof case Silicon grease where how much

Don't be cheap with the silicon grease. In the same respect don't make a mess. Apply a liberal amount to any seal and area that can leak water, and there is really no over kill when it comes to protecting your expensive Canon and photos.

Tracking problem

Suggestions: 1. Do a "reset" by unplugging VCR for 30 seconds or so. Doubtful to fix- but worth a try. 2. Pull the top cover, load a tape and play. Does the tape seem to wander up and down across the video or control heads? If so, this is a mechanical problem- perhaps a tape guide is broken. 3. Electronic problem: If this is the case, probably trash the unit unless unit is a high dollar ($250 or up). VCRs (like most other consumer electronics) are throw away items these days.
