SOURCE: how to calculate log value in calculator with different base value

In any scientific calculator log2(n) can be  calculated with either ln or log function as follows

Log2(n)= ln(n) / ln(2)

Or
Log2(n)=log(n) / log(2)

both will give nearly the same answers

SOURCE: Inputing factors on a casio fx-115es calculator

Unless I am failing to understand your problem, just combine like terms to get:
9x^2+2x+4 and then enter those coefficients into the quadratic solver.
That will get you the two answers -- both of them will be complex.
If you wanted to turn those two answers into factors (complex) of the original equation simply
change the signs on each and put an x in front.
Of course, the quadratic formula would also work.

SOURCE: mode change

Hello,
Just so that we know what we are talking about. The natural display is the display mode in which fractions appear on two lines, radicals appear as radicals, log can be calculated in any base, etc. If that is what you understand by Natural Display, we are in agreement.
To set this mode, you turn calculator ON and press [SHIFT][MODE] (setup). The option is called MathIO, and it has the number 1.
Thus [SHIFT][MODE][1:MathIO].
Hope it helps.

SOURCE: how can I calculate a large factorial using casio

Hello,
There is a function to calculate them for you.

In CAS, or Algebra or Tutor Modes, use the x! option
In Run-Math, press [OPTN][F6] to pan right, then [F1] to access the (PROB) menu then enter option number corresponding to x!
The way it works is as follows
number ! [EXE].
Due to memory limitations, you can calculate factorials of numbers up to 69.

Hope it helps.

Save equation fx 991es

In table Mode you can enter the formula for a function and generate a table of values. For a 991ES Plus you can enter two functions. However if you change MODE everything will be erased.
In EQN (equation) there is a certain number of built in formula types you can choose. You will be asked for the coefficients which will be used to solve the equation selected. However if you change MODE your lose what you entered. So basically you cannot save formulas to use as a memory aid (if that is what your intention is.) Sorry.

How i can get infinity symbol in casio fx-991es plus calculator

You cannot. The calculator does not have a Computer Algebra System or CAS. If you are trying to calculate an integral over an infine interval, you must try some high values to simulate infinity and find a value after which the value of the integral stops changing .

Can casio fx-991es factor?

No it cannot factor. It does not do symbolic manipulations.If you know a bit of theory of polynomials you can find the roots of the polynomial equation. The calculator has a Solve utility. Once you have the roots, you can use your knowledge about polynomials to carry out the factorization procedure.

I am trying to find a way to use my calculator and its financial functions but i have no idea how. i need the present value of $1 and present value of annuity of $1

Neely Neel Neel Neelerson,

--> APPS
--> TVM

Viola. The initials TVM stand for Time-Value-Money; it's a widely used tool throughout financial mathematics. If you are looking to deal with annuities, bonds, present value equations, future value equations, or even certain stocks then you will want to use the TVM app within your TI-84.

When you go into that menu screen you will see about 10 input lines; and despite how you're being taught you'd be best off using only five (from a mathematical & conceptual standpoint). The backbone of the TVM is the time-zero equation of value. So, all you want to be touching is the N, I/Y, PV, PMT, and FV keys.

Background on TVM:
N = Number of intervals
I/Y = Effective Interest Rate Per Interval (5% is .05 but the computer wants it entered as 5.0)
PV = The Present Value
PMT = Recurring Payment (either deposit or withdrawal)
FV = Future Value

There are like 3 other inputs that I encourage you to ignore (in exchange for learning exactly what's going on within this application).

NOTE: You MUST make your effective interest term match your number of intervals. For example, an annuity with monthly payments for 5 years with a monthly effective interest rate of 2% would need an N value of 60 (which is 12 months per year times 5 years for a total of 60 months).

There's more that could be said, but I think this should help you find the PV of an annuity.

Go Bulls,
