Mp3 wont start up
I've just read your problem and it was a couple of days ago and it may have been fixed but if not this could be because your mp3 players boot up files have corrupted or unreadable that's why your harddrive was making a funny noise because it was trying to read the files but was unsuccessful.
To resolve this problem you will have to format your mp3 player unforturnetly, to do this there are 2 way's the first one is formatting it using the software that came with it, if you've already tryed that way but still was unsuccessful follow this other way below:
First connect your mp3 player to the computer once you've done that click on "Start" then go to "My Computer" look for your mp3 player on there it's usally named under something called "Removable Disk", now when you've found it right-click on it then click on "Format", allow format to complete then unplug your device and have another go see if the problems be resolved.
Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful in some way. Further problems just leave a comment on this page and i will get back to you a.s.s.p.
