Yes, your 600d has 1/4 threads at the bottom wich is ideal for tripod mounts, take the tripod head off the tripod, and line up the 1/4 tripod head and camera and screw in the tripod head into the camera (bottom), if any questions contact me thanks How can i attach my canon 600D to a optex T-4151 t - 4_15_2014_1_41_51_am.png

I have a canon t3i. The menu doesn't turn on when you turn on the camera.

The menu doesn't display when you switch on. You should get the settings screen appear. Once powered up just hit the MENU button

The XTi (400D) needs to be attached firmly to a tripod with a tilting head to enable you to counteract this.

I was wondering if I can use an LP-E5 Canon 500D battery for my Canon 600D?

No. The 600D uses the LP-E8. This is the same battery as used by the 550D, but not the 500D.

It would be silly for a tripod maker to make a tripod that wouldn't fit the tripod socket in a camera. You can go ahead and buy it with confidence.

How do you properly attach the camera to the optex t465 tripod...there was no manual to go in...i want to make sure it's secure so i can have the camera vertical ...second question...i seem to have it...

Hi Julie.... These tripods are often a wee bit difficult to tighten down. I use a pair of common pliers to snug down the thumb screws to be sure the tripod stays put. Joe

I bought a used camera tripod that does not fit my camera

Your tripod is a K-Mart brand item and it will fit any camera but it's clearly missing the quick-release foot which most tripods have these days. This part screws to the bottom of the camera and enables the camera to be quickly attached and removed from the tripod.

Unfortunately there is no standard foot shared between manufacturers and most tripod manufacturers don't even have a standard design foot which fits all models in their range.

You can still order a replacement foot from:-

http://tripodquickrelease.com/Focal_Quick_Releases.htm

But at US$18.99 it may be cheaper to buy a new tripod!

I hope that you appreciate the time which I've taken to research and answer your question and ask only that you return the favour by rating my answer.

How to fit canon s5is on a tripod stand (fotomate)?

I'm not sure what you're asking. There is a threaded tripod socket on the bottom of the camera. You just screw the tripod into this socket. Is that what you were asking?
