How to change NTSC/PAL settings in Vizio M261VP model 26" purchased in USA intended to use in India

Sometimes uses 305 codes, or 340, but from the manuals, get the generic codes.

If the Vizio logo(power indicator) isn't coming on when the set is plugged in, most likely you have a issue with the power supply. Your standby power supply isn't working, and without it, you will have a dead set.

No,if the tv it is not a Regions free tv set.If the manual or tv dose not say it is a Regions free tv set.All tvs sets u bought in the USA and Canada are alway used and set on NTSC signal frequencies.Which will not work on Asia as PAL systems.

Yes USA made will only sometimes work on USA TV standard, IE: NTSC, whereas Korean may not, or only do PAL, you must check, and see if only single format or dual format IE:: PAL & NTSC.

While a modern PAL TV can display NTSC sources (namely DVD players and PAL VHS players that support pseudo-NTSC), an NTSC TV can not display a PAL source, unless it's an expensive multi-standard TV. Sorry pal, bad choice.

Nope. The AV inputs except a composite video signal that is either NTSC or PAL. You will need to convert the PAL signal to NTSC.

If you purchased the TV in the US, it is probably strictly for use with the NTSC system and will not work with any PAL components. You can get some multi fornat devices (DVD, VCR) that will output NTSC, PAL and Secam. That is probably your best option.
