Not enough memory to receive messages, delete some data first in n 72

This is a common problem in some phones. By default, some phones are set to store received messages in the phone memory. When this memory has received so much messages that it can no longer store the incoming messages, this message comes up. Fortunately, fixing it is not hard as far as you have a memory card. Here is the instruction on how to rectify it.
1. Open messages,
2. Press the options button,
3. Select the settings option and go to text messages,
4. Change the default save location from the phone memory to the memory card and it should be fine.
Hope this was helpful?

(not enough memory to receive messages. delete some date first.) msgs pop-up. but i still have 22mb free space. delete 50 of my msg. but still there is a pop-up.

You can try changing the message memory to memory card. Open messaging and press options and select settings and select others and change memory in use to memory card.
Hope this helped.

Why when i receive music using bluetooth it tells me no enough memory?

it might depend on the size of the memory card the phone is using at the moment. If it has a small size of bite,it might not be able to receive more data.

But if the memory is large on the phone, take note of these. When a message come in to the phone,it comes as a message when you receive messages that enters into the, phone if not deleted there will not be enough space for new data to enter into when ever you receive any data into the phone.

make sure you delete the messages that comes as text messages or it might go to the received files in your phone.

Take care.

Can not send or receive sms.though memory space is free 746Mb

Here "Not Enough Memory" Suggests either the SIM Memory is full or the Phone Memory is full. It has nothing to do with te Memory Card.

As you say there is only one SMS in the INBOX, I suggest you check the SIM Memory. It will be full. Delete some data from SIM memory. It shud work

Phone Memory Full

Dear Rohan_anand,

Actually the problem is because your SMS/MMS inbox is full.
Over the last six months you have piled plenty of messages in your inbox that you didnt delete. or you may have MP3's shared via bluetooth in your inbox.

Try saving them to you memory card and delete them from your inbox.

You will not receive this message anymore.

Let me know, if this doesnt solve your problem. Please leave a comment here as i will be checking it time to time.

Would appreciate if you can rate this solution if it solves your problem.

Best Regards,

Memory low n70

You need to change default storage device on your phone, from phone memry to card memory. In other words, move all data (messages, songs, videos etc) from your phone memory to card memory.
for example, go to messages>options>other>momory in use - change it to memory card instead of phone. (if your memory card is not named, it will be displayed as NO NAME).
Do the same with other data also.

Cannot delete messages from inbox

It also happened to me and my friend's cellphone. I suspected a virus from a text message we received. You have to reformat your phone as suggested by iroarload: 1. switch phone off, probably take out the battery if the power button doesn't work. 2. hold down call (green), 3 and * all at the same time. best with right hand. 3. turn phone on. with left hand. 4. wait a bit and phone will come up with formatting. does take a bit, so be patient.
