Its called the fuel shut off solenoid. if you have a good ground to the engine and you send voltage to the solenoid and you dont hear it click. its bad

Is there a fuse or shut off for the fuel pump, can't get it to pump fuel to the engine?

In this diagram, the asd relay supplies voltage to fuel pump. See the red wire, hot all the time, protected by fusible link. Use a test lite check for voltage on that wire? If it is hot, unplug the asd relay use a jumper wire on load side of relay, the load side is that line with arrowhead. Use a jumper wire between red and dark green wire terminals, if the pump runs, hopefully it is ok. The problem would be on control side of relay, right side in picture. The control side of relay needs both voltage and ground.
Any applicable trouble codes?

No power going to coil I have changed the ignition switch crank sensor coil I have switched auto shut down relay

What is your vehicle? Assuming you have a Chrysler, check to see if the fuel pump is coming on when you switch the ignition to the on position. Most of the Chrysler's with the auto-shutdown relay system use the same power to energize the fuel pump, ignition coil and fuel injectors. The hot lead to the coil should be the same color wire as the lead to the injectors and fuel pump. If power is present at the pump and injectors, then you should trace from the coil back to where it joins up to everything else. If nothing is powered up, check for bad fuses or a bad connection in the engine fuse block.

Fuse to my fuel injector is popping and my car dies

It could be a short in the injector circuit (and it's not that complicated), or it could be a shorted injector itself. You may be able to isolate and find it.
Begin by disconnecting all six injector connectors from the injectors. Now put a new fuse into the injector fuse slot and turn the key to on, not start. If the fuse blows again, there must be a short in the circuit-I'll get to that later. If the fuse stays good, then put one injector connector back on -key still on. Watch for the fuse to blow when you connect each individual injector back on. If you have a shorted injector (internally bad), it can blow the fuse and stop the injector power circuit. That injector must be replaced. The injectors can also be checked with a volt ohm meter, if you have one.

So if your circuit is bad, from fuse to the injector harness connector a pink/black wire supplies constant battery voltage to all injectors-always hot in run or start-each injector gets a splice from this pink/black wire. The other wire at each injector is the dark blue ground wire. From each side of the engine the ground wires splice together-so 3 to each side-and head into the ecm on the 22 pin blue ecm connector. The pin numbers are D3 and D9. When the computer internally grounds one side or the other for a split second, that is where you get the pulse-the injector solenoid is energized, opening the injector for fuel to spray out. So now you know where all the injector circuit is, and where to look for a short. Having a DVOM would help you immensely in troubleshooting any thing automotive. New fuel pump still no fuel

lets say you have power and fuel is pumping it goes from pump to fuel rails in one long line if fuel is at port on rail then ck injectors for hot and ground hot with key on ground with engine turning injectors get ground from ecm ,if no ground ck for bad ground wires then ck ecm ,. if no power to pump ck fuse and fuel pump relay and wire system. some times replacement parts are bad.

Check fuel pressure. Have you replaced the fuel filter on schedule? Verify that the fuel pump is getting power. Power goes through an in-line fuse, then the fuel pump relay or the oil pressure sensor. (The relay bypasses the oil pressure sensor while the engine starts, but fuel pump power goes through the sensor during normal run operation. If you lose oil pressure, the fuel pump is shut off to protect the engine.) On four-cylinder models, the fuse is in the fuse block (E PUMP 10)
The fuel injectors are connected to the ECM fuse on one side and straight to the engine computer on the other side. Check the connectors and wiring, especially at the injector.

Vehicle shuts off on the highway,and want start. but after two to five minutes it will start again,drive another twenty to thirty miles,it might shut off wiat another two to five minutes it will start...

you need to check this when it does not start fuel pressure at the fuel rail , spark at the plugs, power at the fuel injector wire that will tell you whats wrong . if there is no fuel pressure its a bad fuel pump swap the relay with another one to test it if still no pressure the pump is bad . if you have fuel pressure and wont start spray starting fluid in the throttle body see if it starts this tells you if its spark or fuel if it does not start its spark possible bad distributor or coil if it does start that means you have spark and with fuel it will run meaning your injectors are not firing = no power at injectors = bad crank sensor its 38.00 at auto parts stores driver side top of trans bell housing make sure you push and hold it down when tightening the bolt

check fuel pressure and relay. these had a problem with fuel pump relays getting hot and losing contact shutting off the pump.

1987 Chevy S10 TBI 4cyl 2.5 L will not run. I changed a weak fuel pump and i am now getting good pressure. I swapped ecm's, changed fuel pressure switch, oil pressure switch, distrib, rotor, electronic...

Check the injector for 12v on one wire. if good check the other wire for a ground witth the key on. The ground wire pulses from the ECM If you dont have 12v from one wire to the other but you have 12v from one wire to battery ground then be sure the ground wire is good to the computer. If you don't have 12 v at any time check for open hot wire or bad fuse. ADD 12v to the hot wire at the injector. DO NOT add to the wrong wire or you will fry the computer
