I have a 2000 caliver when I put it in gear the motor rocks and makes a clunking noise

Not such a good description the fault immediately springs to mind. Manual or auto transmission?

The motor rocking could be a misfire or a broken engine mount or a juddering clutch.

What sort of clunking noise and precisely when? as the gear is engaged or when drive is taken up?

Fix ariens snowblower 520 dies when engaging the auger lever

Your front end is jammed. Its either frozen or there is a rock or something jamming it up. Before you start engine reach down chute and turn back impeller that throws the snow out of blower. Should turn freely. when its free its fixed. You will probably need a new belt.

Whirlpool wtw5100sq0 clunks when put on spin cycle

Does the washer currently work fine aside from the loud clunking noise? Does the clunking noise continue or is it just one loud clunk when it starts to spin? If its just one loud clunk then that is not a problem just ignore it as that is the clutch spring releasing, it probably starting making noise from the grease getting washed off when the washer over filled.
However how did the washer overfill? That issue should be addressed too. Sometimes though, if the tub is not centered from a heavy load the water will spill over the back but its not really an overfill.

When turning it makes loud noises and is harder to turn, but there seems to be enough fluid in container.

Does it make a clunking noise when turning? How about a continuous clicking noise when turning? That would be tie rod end if clunking, or cv shaft (ball bearings) if continual clicking when turning. Sometimes turning very sharply can put to much pressure on the power steering pump and strain on the belt when turning. Do check your steering linkage and make sure nothing is rubbing against the tire when turning.

Clunking noise then van stopped, wont start, may be a problem with transmission as clutch play was very little. Engine turns over but it sounds as though the engine is not engaging. All the fly wheels and...

Ouch, sounds as if the timing belt may have failed or slipped (now mechanically out of time). I tend to think this as you mentioned it was running and then shut down with clunking noise (not pistons hitting valves I hope)
Remove the distributor cap and crank the engine over, if the rotor does not move the belt broke. The belt drives the cams which inturn drives the distributor.

Pleas let me know your results so I may possibley assist further.

Thanks,
Tom

Harmonic Balancer issue

sounds like your balancer may have come apart. it shouldn't move at all. to move it you have to make the crankshft turn. i had this happen on a truck once. it made some strange noises, then it started vibrating pretty bad. i shut it off, took me a while to figure out what it was. most of them are actually 2 piece and have a key slot, (a grove cut in both pieces that a piece of metal sits in to keep them turning at the same time). it sounds to me like you need to replace it. it can take some serious effort & tools to replace.

Hay I would check your sway bar in the front .The bal may have came out of the seat located under front wheel well. Also they could be just loose. Check by rocking your jeep side to side .
