a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

reseat ram for a fast beeping and disconnect the power supply both the big and 4 pin connectors for 2-5 min plug in and boot. Plus you do not have to have pairs of mem only if you wand double data rate

I just recently have reinstalled window XP Prof on Acer Aspire T180 with Window Vista originally. Every hardware works fine. I downloaded all the drivers for Window XP from Acer website. However, the PC just keeps hang up on me after 2-10 minutes after boot up. I have to Power cycles it to get it starts again. Any helps will be appreciated. Thanks

The beeps you refer to are known as "computer beep codes" and may also be known as "computer post codes" although they are in fact slightly different with the post code being the more technically descriptive of the two.
These are very descriptive and can tell you exactly where to home in on the problem.
In the back of your manual should be a list of these beeps and if you listen very carefully the are quite similar to morse code it is this distinction the gives you the information. If its not there then you should go here
You need to scroll down to the beep codes.
or try here
Sometimes it is just a matter of opening the computer (good time to blast the dust bunnis with a $3 can of compressed air (outside of course) and then remove each connection (one at a time) and reconnect before doing the next one.
You should do this with all the cards, rem, and cables. (computer off AND disconnected during the above)
If any of the connections seem difficult the look for a small pusf in latch on one side of it and push it in whilst wiggling the connection gently.
When you have done connect and try your computer again.
If you were lucky it may now work again. If not you may have to seek more help at your local repair shop.

The acer veriton m460 has three faulty capacitors. Check and see if you have bulgy capacitors. I have ten of these computers and all have three blown capacitors.
